Adult Virtual DBT Group Offerings: Mondays 5pm-6:30pm Sundays 10am-11:30am
Adolescent Virtual DBT Group: Sundays 3:10pm-4:40pm Parent's may be required to attend occasional parent coaching sessions while their child is enrolled in this group.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy or DBT is an evidence based therapy that has been found to be effective across a wide range of issues and behaviors. DBT helps people learn to manage intense emotions and decrease impulsive behaviors. Your DBT therapist will help you to recognize and work on the specific behaviors that are interfering with your life and your relationships. In DBT skills class you will learn the tools to truly help change those behaviors and learn to build a life worth living. DBT has been shown to be helpful with:
Difficulty with emotion regulation, such as decreasing anger and anxiety, or increasing feelings of happiness.
Self-harm
Anger outbursts
Suicide thoughts or attempts
Difficulty with interpersonal effectiveness
